Indrajatra, one the biggest street festivals celebrated in Kathmandu valley, begin with the erection of a sacred wooden pole (lingo) at Hanumandhoka in Basantapur Darbar Square. This photo is taken when armies and people were pulling ropes from different sides so that lingo is inserted property.
