Kahi Navako Jatra Hadigaun Ma

Every year in Hadigaun, people conduct a unique jatra that takes place nowhere in the world. Commonly known as Hadigaun Jatra this ‘Kahi nabhaeko jatra’ which means ‘jatra that takes place nowhere else’, is one of its kinds. The jatra has also given rise to the popular Nepali saying “kahi nabhaeko jatra Hadigaunma” meaning ‘a jatra that takes place only in Hadigaun’. Although this jatra has become an identity of Hadigaun, other jatras like Gahana Khojne jatra, Ropai jatra, Rath Dubaune jatra, Bhatey jatra and Krishna jatra are also conducted here which makes Hadigaun a place that could be found nowhere else in the world.
