Lord Shiva statue in the hills above Pokhara

Shiva temple located in Pumdikot ward no. 22 of Pokhara, a famous tourist spot of Kaski district of Gandaki province. Shiva's temple is 10.5 km away from Pokhara Bazaar. It takes 30 minutes by car to reach here. Pumdikot Danda, situated at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level, is a beautiful place. The height of the Shiva temple is 105 feet and the height of the idol is 51 feet. The damru in this temple complex is considered to be the largest damru in Asia. The idol of Lord Shiva is surrounded by small Shivalingas. There are two Shivalingas in front of the temple.
