Local villagers struggling for their daily livelihood in Sikles, which is the second largest Gurung community village in Kaski, Gandaki province-4 of Nepal. Cattle rearing (mainly sheep, cows, buffaloes ) is one of the major profession of the villagers in this Sikles village, shifting twice a year, shifting up to high hills such as Kori Dada reaching up to high altitude regions that are below the Mt. Lamjung, Mt. Annapurna during summer monsoon season. And, descending to lower altitude in winter season in nearby places of Sikles village or below the village in fields. In this way, people in Sikles village struggle hard for survival and continuing animal husbandry as their old traditional profession from generations to generations.
