'Machhapuchhre'(6991m), known as Mount Fishtail by foreigners is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. It is best known for its double peak, which resembles the tail of a fish and hence the name. The mountain is considered holy for the locals of the region. The last rays of daylight bid adieu to the majestic peak, creating a symphony of colors in an evening sky, captured from Mardi High Camp in autumn 2019.
