The young leader of chariot leading the way to pull chariot on their side. Biska Jatra, celebrated in Bhaktapur, is a nine-day eight-night festival that witnesses many participants along with thousands of visitors which involves erecting a lingo (pole), pulling of chariots of deities, worshipping them, and much merrymaking. During the festival devotees of the eastern and western part of town pull chariots competing in tug of war to commemorate the start of the Nepalese New Year.
