Youths for different tole plays Dhime a m=newari musical instrument during SINDOOR JATRA at Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal. "Dhime" is a traditional Newari musical instrument. It has a very important part to be played in Newar community and also very popular along Newars. The one end of dhime is beaten with taekhurcha with one hand and the other end is beaten with bare palms one after other or at same time producing a rhythmic beat sound and music. This instrument is mainly played during festivals, celebrations and other special occasions.
