Devotees offerings butter lamp to the god Rato Machindranath at chardobato Patan, Nepal. ⁣⁣ The Rato Machhindranath festival, which pays homage to the rain deity of the same name, features a procession with a 32-feet high wooden chariot. thousands of Hindus and Buddhists of the Newar community celebrated the Ratomachindranath festival by pulling the chariot all over the valley for a month. The festival is celebrated in the hope of a good harvest, prosperity, and good luck, for the upcoming year. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣
